Do schools kill creativity? This is now getting to become an old talk by Sir Ken Robinson at a TED lecture but is still relevant.

Ken Robison describes how we get educated out of creativity. How the education system does not know what the world will look like in five years time but we are expected to educate children for it while systematically squandering their talents, creativity and capacity for innovation. Schools all around the world have a educational hierarchy where the arts are at the bottom but intelligence is diverse, dynamic and distinct. We should be educating for all types of intelligence, encouraging creativity and as a common theme in these blogs supporting making mistakes.
