Singing 12 year old with Downs Syndrome

Here, doing what she loves to do, is Madison Tevlin. She was born with Down Syndrome and therefore faces difficulty when it comes to singing. This is because, according to a study by Down Syndrome Education International, it takes twice as much energy for people with Down syndrome to activate their vocal muscles and initiate voice as well as having voices described as “gruff and low-pitched”.

Madison wants her cover of John Legend’s “All of me” to affect others, to inspire them. By defying the odds, Madison is doing just that.
